HOPE AND LOVE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD

Hope is the confident expectation of what God has promised and its' strength is found in His faithfulness.  Hope will not disappoint us during our walk, nor will it disappoint us on that day when Hope realizes its final fulfillment.  We shall be like Him and see Him as He is. God's love justifies our lives and fills us with a hope for the future.

John 3:16:  "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life."

Jesus Christ's death, burial and resurrection was our promissory of eternal life.  His love covered a multitude of sins and now we, whom believe, can have a future and a hope.

Jeremiah 29:11:  "For I know the plans that I think toward you, says he LORD, thoughts of peace and  not of evil to give you a future and a hope.""

God speaks to His children to love as He loves us.  If we have love in our hearts, we cannot sit, watch and do nothing to help someone who is hurting or in need. Instead of turning a blind eye, let's help the cause and the need....be an extension of God's hands and feet in the world.  JESUS DID!

1 John 3:18:  "Dear children, let us not love with words or speech, but with actions and in truth."

Ministry is not a job or a Sunday routine, it's a PRIVILEGE to be chosen and used by Jesus.

May we love God's Word so much that we cannot keep the good news to ourselves:  This is one message we can share that never grows stale and we bound faithful to do our Lord's command.  - Isaiah 40:8 "The grass withers, the flowers fade, but the word of our God remains forever".

"And He said to them, "Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation."

Sharing the good news of the gospel isn't simply a suggestion; it is a command that Jesus set out for us.  The Gospel writers describes Jesus' message as the gospel.  Jesus challenges people to "repent and believe the gospel."  In between, Jesus proclaims "Time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is near."  This announcement is the breaking ground that God is breaking into the world.  Jesus is God manifested in the flesh who came to die for our sins---that's Good News!

"Go to the Call"

In Matthew 5:13, Jesus Christ tells us "Ye are the salt of the earth."   To be "salt" means to deliberately seek to influence the people in one's life by showing them unconditional love of Christ through good deeds.  Light is a symbol used to mean awareness, knowledge, and understanding.

Christians are the salt of the earth and the light of the world...on the job, in the grocery store, even among unsaved friends and family members.  God's people are here to bring seasoning with love to an unholy situation.

"Never deprive someone of hope; it may be all they have."
